LSPJ batch of 81 keeps surgeons protected

The surgical team at Serdang Hospital recently received three PAPR suits worth RM21,000 to be used in course of their duties. The suits were donated by members of the La Salle PJ Class of 81. The ‘powered and supplied air respiratory protection’ suits will be used by the surgical team, headed by Chief Surgeon Dr. Ramesh Thangaratnam, also from the batch of 81, when performing critical and life-saving tasks, particularly at this critical time. Serdang Hospital has been gazetted by the Ministry of Health to be one of the epicentres in the care and treatment of Covid-19 patients.
