A Symbolic Reminder
OLA recently engaged with Lasallian, Jon Tham from the class of 1993 to create two wall murals in La Salle Primary school, paying tribute to our founder St. John Baptist De La Salle. The mural was painted in May, the month in which we honour the sacrifices of St John Baptist De La Salle in his mission to provide affordable education to all. The murals will serve as a symbolic reminder to future Lasallians of the virtues of being a Lasallians as well as the legacy of the individual who founded the schools.

“It is a great honour to paint the found of my alma mater, and to feature him behind such a colourful background to brighten up the school,” says Jon.

The artist also created the giant wall mural located on Tower Block B of the second school, back in 2019, to commemorate La Salle PJ’s 60thanniversary.
I was a student at LSPJ from standard 1 through Form 6. LSPJ was a wonderful environment, and I will always be grateful for the wonderful teachers we had.
