Remembering Mr. Jeremiah

It has been four years since we lost our teacher and mentor Mr. Reginald Bartholomew Jeremiah. Mr. Jeremiah was posted to La Salle PJ in 1968 where he taught for 20 years. The Science teacher and hockey master was highly revered by his students and colleagues. Though he had a stern reputation, he was also described as “cool and calm” by his students. He is remembered by his students as being a dedicated teacher who exemplified the values that are associated with the La Salle schools. He was credited as having cultivated the sporting talents of many students and instilled in them strong character building. After serving in La Salle P.J secondary, Mr. Jeremiah went on to assume the post of senior assistant at the La Salle P.J. primary school. Mr. Jeremiah’s son Andrew Jeremiah is from the batch of 1989. Mr. Jeremiah left us on Feb 12, 2017. Rest in peace sir.
