Eugene Morais from the class of 1985 returns to LSPJ

From student to teacher

There are many thoroughbred Lasallians who have done the full journey, from primary school to completion of their schooling at La Salle PJ Secondary. However, not many can claim to have done a complete circle. Eugene Morais (LSPJ Class of 1985) is one of the rare individuals to do this, returning home to his alma mater, this time as a teacher.
La Salle PJ is proud to welcome back Morais who has taken up the position of English Language teacher from July 1st, 2021. Eugene began his teaching career at LSPJ Primary School, after completing his teacher training in 2004 His last position was at the Royal Military College. Prior to that, he was teaching at Catholic High School.
His Lasallian journey started in January 1975 as a primary school newbie joining the Standard 1 class. His schooling career at LSPJ lasted 12 years until he completed his Fifth Form in 1985.
Eugene tells us that his transfer to LSPJ is the culmination of a lifelong dream to teach at his beloved alma mater.
The Alumni body is delighted to have a true son of La Salle return as a teacher. His transfer to LSPJ is most timely as it fills a severe gap with the current shortage of English teachers in our school.
